Breast Cancer Screening in Your 30s - The Guardian

Groundbreaking research from the UK, the Bcan-Ray project, shows that nearly one in five women aged 30-39 are at increased risk of breast cancer, even without a family history. This is critical because breast cancer is a leading cause of death for women aged 35-50.

These findings, highlighted in a recent Guardian article on May 30, 2025, about the NHS potentially offering checks to women in their thirties.
